1) Warranty and Repairs

As a dealer we are legally responsible for the legal warranty of our products. This means that we are primarily responsible for the warranty on the product, even if the manufacturer offers a worldwide warranty.

Please check the warranty booklet for information on what is covered by the warranty. Keep this manual in a safe place to know where to find it in case you need it.

Common guidelines on warranty and repair

In general, the factory warranty covers defects in materials and movement.

 The factory warranty does not cover damage caused by daily use or excessive or abusive use of bracelets, appendages and glass.

 The warranty does not cover damage done by water when the watch is not used according to the manufacturer's instructions.

 All watches are dispatched on working days. The warranty does not cover battery life and / or battery replacement.

 The warranty is generally void if unauthorized repairs have been made by someone other than an authorized distributor of the mark.

Warranty repairs:

For all brands of which we are an authorized reseller, you will receive a worldwide warranty. This is the same guarantee that you will receive from any official dealer of this brand. We also provide assistance if you need to make a warranty claim. In any case, the watch will be checked and repaired by an authorized watchmaker or by the manufacturer himself.

If the problem you are having with your watch is covered by the warranty, we will send the watch to the factory. If the required maintenance work is not covered by the warranty, we

2)  Waterproof

People are often confused by what sealing really means. It is important to keep in mind that unless indicated by depth, waterproof means only splashing.

A watch marked as waterproof, without indication of depth, can withstand light splashes and rain, but should not be immersed in water. Acceptable depths, higher and higher, indicate high levels of tightness. However, a watch classified as waterproof at 30 meters, does not mean that the watch can be immersed at this depth, since this note is established by the manufacturer and is theoretical and can not be achieved in a controlled laboratory environment, these conditions are almost impossible to reproduce in real life.

Please be aware that temperature variations and external influences, such as cosmetics, dust or shocks caused by impacts on the crown, which could damage internal components without leaving visible traces, may affect the seal. Taking care of your watch following the manufacturer's instructions, will ensure a longer life.

When changing the battery of your watch, you must make sure to have it closed and tested under pressure by your jeweler, this way you make sure it stays waterproof to the depth specified by the manufacturer. Use these guidelines below to choose the correct waterproof watch.

3)  Exchanges

If a product received does not give you complete satisfaction, you can of course return it to us.

You have 5 days to make a return, from the date of receipt of your package. If you return your package within 5 days of receipt, you can choose between an exchange, credit, or refund. In the latter case, Bijouterie Chichkhane will refund you within 2 to 3 days (from the date of receipt of the return of your parcel).

Conditions of acceptance of the return

4)  Refunds

Refunds will be made as soon as possible after receiving your package. Please allow 2 to 3 days for processing all refunds. In all cases, the refunds will be made in the form of the original payment.
